Founded in 1976, Miraco was established as a joint-stock company by its Chairman, Adel Barakat, who has over 44 years of experience in the industry. The company's original factory, built in 1979 in Abu Rawash, covered 5,400 sqm with a production capacity of 2,000 units annually and a workforce of 250 employees.
In 1992, Miraco signed a joint venture agreement with Carrier, marking the beginning of its transformation into the largest HVAC company in Africa.
Today, Miraco operates two advanced manufacturing facilities equipped with the latest technology, covering a total area of 90,000 sqm. The production capacity has grown to over 400,000 units annually, with a specialized workforce exceeding 1,400 employees.
